FSF Fundraising events
One of FSF’s biggest fundraising events took place in May 2008 at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford.
It was the brainchild of the conductor and musical director, James Ross, who worked tirelessly to make this event a great success. He planned a wonderful evening of Mozart, not only conducting the Christchurch Fesitval Orchestra, but also making sure that there was a great deal of publicity in the run up to the event.
Sri Lankan violin soloist, Mandhira de Saram, charmed the audience with her talents and playing.
The evening was a resounding success with 3500 pounds sterling being raised for Sunera and its work.
In order to raise funds for the Sunera Foundation, the Friends of Sunera Foundation (FSF) organised a 350 mile long bicycle ride by Heather Mayall (57).
