Swinging Times – A Fairy Tale For Adults
Perhaps the most awe inspiring aspect is that so much human emotion can be drawn, with such little uttered. The play consisted of minimum talk; maximum acting that came from deep within their hearts.

First performed in 2001, then again in 2003 and directed by Wolfgang Stange and Rohana Deva, Swinging Times is set against a military backdrop and is the story of the many unseen facets of war. It highlights how the fortunes of some are built upon and indeed dependent on the lack of peace and the demand for weapons of destruction. It questions the morals of a rapidly ‘developing’ society. This performance leaves the audience pondering, long after the curtains close, on the issues which surface amidst the unraveling plot.
