Sunera, in collaboration with Sarvodaya, with funding from the Jewish Joint Distribution Council, has set up medical camps for all our workshops across the country. Every Sunera participant will be examined by a doctor, who will then register them with the medical camp programme. These participants are issued with a referral card which entitles them to medical attention and/or medication with their local doctor/hospital.

In the build up to Samanalayaya 2008, Sunera organized a 5 day residential TOT in Malabe, where all our trainers received valuable input and knowledge on stage management, script writing and performance related activities.  They will now utilise this training to put  together their individual performances for this year’s drama festival.

The Sunera Charity Dinner will be taking place on 31st May 2008, at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo. There will be the usual delectable 4 course dinner followed by world class entertainment. For the first time EVER, cello maestro Rohan de Saram and premiere pianist, Rohan De Silva come together to play music that one rarely has the privilege of enjoying! See you all there!
