The Art Exhibition at Paradise Road Galleries in aid of Sunera Foundation has been declared a success following its closure on March 7, 2006.
The exhibit was originally scheduled to close on March 2, but was extended due to intense public interest in both the artworks and Sunera Foundation.
A sudden downpour of rain at the opening night gala did little to dampen the enthusiasm of prospective art buyers. Most of the pieces on display sold within two hours of the exhibition opening.
All proceeds went directly to Sunera.
Money raised will be put directly towards supporting our ongoing regular workshops right across the island.
Sunera would like to thank all those who bought a piece of art, the artists who contributed their time and talent and Paradise Road Galleries for completely covering the costs of the event.
